Review summary

We did not receive our on board credit for booking with BJ's Travel. Our room smelt of moldy carpet, and sections of the corridors stank of overflowing waste drainage. The food was fresh on the first day but seemed recycled over the proceeding days and weeks.  Wasted my money!

The shower was super small and full of mildew. I was very disappointed.

Ship tip

If you're going to book with Royal Caribbean please make sure your money is correct because everything on the ship is expensive and the food is not that tasteful so you would wants to go to the paid restaurant on the ship.

We were on Allure this past September in a Grand Suite, boat & crew were awesome! We did meet another couple staying in a crown loft suite, and they did say their main bathroom smelled horrible, HOWEVER, they didn't wine about it and they told us crew went above and beyond to fix it. We had issues with our room 1st day and by evening, all was corrected! So, RCI accommodates their passengers. AND, you make your cruise what it is. Going on Harmony in 3 months and going back on Allure next year. I highly recommend Allure for anyone going on or deciding to...just saying. 😉

Hmmm..... were you actually on the Allure? What room stank? I've been on the ship twice and didn't experience anything like that. Not to say it couldn't happen, but if a smell is really bad, they will work to correct it.

I've been on it before. didn't have any thing bad to say about that trip... can't wait to be back on her in a couple days, celebrate the BIG 50 anyone in the June 11th-18th sailing

Not meaning to dominate the page but on out RC Freedom of the Seas Cruise my husband became ill ( not ships fault ) and we were treated wonderfully by both RC and our cabin Steward. They even reimbursed my husbands alcohol package $$ because he quarantined himself to our cabin so he wouldn't make others sick. RC provided him with free water & juices even. So...I know the post from msnellye is fake!

i have been on allure oing the past never had anything go bad... sounds like someone's trying to get a credit or discount. like everyone else sounds like a made up story to me. Oh of it was such a bad experience did you even bother to let anyone know? I don't see any other postings of a such experience. again sounds like a made up story to me. see you in 3 days allure

Next time go NCL I traveled on the Anthem of the Sea last year one of RCL newer ship and they treated horribly I was traveling with a group of 60. I had one of the highest level suites , it's called Star Class! They treated like a piece of 💩upon arriving at the pier, instead being greeted by my Genie ( another work NCL uses for butler I was greeted by security saying I needed medical clearance which was more bull 💩! After waiting over an hour and they realizing the error I had to be escorted aboard along with another person and their Genie. Upon getting to my room none of the extras I paid for were available for me. While running around like a chicken with his head cut for a day and a half I finally went to the concierge and requested to be provided a flight back to New Jersey on the next stop. Finally I got to speak to the decision makers to try and rectify an horrible cruise. I would never cruise with them again, I am hoping this wasn't done because of the color of my skin, it can't be because I didn't pay for what I expect because I travel in their highest level of cruising! Since I have been traveling with NCL only Heaven Suites and always got what I paid for, thanks NCL!

Was that recently? We were on the Allure last week and none of those issues? Everything was sparkly clean and the food was fabulous! We did avoid the Windjammer due to long lines but there were so many other places to eat with lots of variety!
