Review summary

The ship was beautiful. Every aspect from the ship's layout, to the finishes, to the functionality of the different venues were fantastic. The state rooms were well designed and had lots of storage considering the size. There were creature comforts everywhere on the ship, and it was clear that there had been attention to minor details throughout.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in the dining room was very good. Sometimes the portion sizes were a little small\, but the wait staff was always attentive to that and offered to bring more if I had not gotten enough to eat. There was a good variety to choose from\, and prepared very well. The biggest positive characteristic for us is that my wife has some food allergies\, and the staff was EXTREMELY willing and equipped to accommodate her. There were some instances when they prepared an entirely different meal for her rather than risking her having a reaction to dish that had some ingredients that were questionable for her.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We enjoyed the different shows\, especially Ocean Aria\, Blue Planet\, and CHICAGO. Those productions were very well done. We did not fully take advantage of all of the other activities like organized sports\, competitions\, games\, etc.\, but that was our decision. For those who want to be entertained 24 hours a day\, options were there. What we took part in\, we very much enjoyed.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every staff member we came into contact with was extremely pleasant and helpful. Our stateroom attendant was always eager to assist us with anything we needed for our room\, and the wait staff team was extremely attentive and ready to help with special dietary needs. Everyone's attitude was not just to do their \"tasks\"\, but to help make our trip memorable and ultimately enjoyable.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was built with surprises and little details in mind. From the dials in the floors of the elevators that change each day to remind you what day of the week it is\, to the simulated tree frog noises in the park areas at night\, little things are done throughout the ship to delight the guests and make the experience just that much more memorable. I was especially impressed with the quality of the fitness center and the quality and quantity of the exercise equipment. I did not expect it to be so well equipped for a legitimate vacation workout\, but it had everything I could have reasonably wanted\, and more.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was well designed\, and though it was small (it is a cruise ship after all)\, it was plenty sufficient. The bed was very comfortable\, the balcony was wonderful.

Pros: The ship itself and the private balcony and the friendly staff were the best aspects of the vacation.

Cons: The half day in Nassau was least enjoyable. There was not enough time to do much beyond walk around shops near the port. I would bypass Nassau next time.
