Review summary

The ship itself is fantastic...amazing! The food in the dining room was disappointing....too much beef and pork and nothing much for a vegetarian or vegan.... not enough fish choices and what there were on the whole were disappointing....no nice sauces with the standard items....the cod was dried up and horrible and the salmon not much better. The shrimp and lobster were rubbery. The mashed potato was excellent!!!! The food in the Windjammer was also disappointing but better than the dining room. Always beef or pork on the carvery...why not more turkey?...many people were complaining...there are so many people who do not eat red meat. . The shows were incredible. The service from all of the people on the ship was outstanding,,,they could not do enough The enforcement of the smoking policy was excellent....better than any other ship we have been on...however the smoking side of the pool deck was virtually empty while the other no smoking side was crowded.

Very little! In the windjammer they did offer, on one occasion, a Vegetable Curry made with Cauliflower. Was sick afterwards. I do eat fish but on the whole it was not very good though the sauces were good along with it. They gave up in the main dining room and simply brought me a large plate of fruit and a large plate of undercooked vegetables - carrots, brocolli, parsnip, fried mushrooms and cauliflower. I survived off the fruit especially the oranges. They did have organic brown rice which was good, porridge, a delicious multigrain gluten free bread, yogurts and some cakes/pastries but most were laden with sugar.
