Review summary

Good between holiday five day cruise. A lot more kids than we have seen in awhile. The weather was mostly good.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The new terminal is beautiful. Embarkation is great with all the recheck on the app.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Overall I find cruise food good but nothing great. The tenderloin in the main dining room was the best of the week. In the buffet the brisket, jerk chicken and Indian food we all above average. The pizza at cafe promenade is good.

Main Dining Room

4 out of 5

Diner service was good.We found breakfast service to be very slow and the food warm to cold. After a couple days we opted for the buffet and found it obviously faster and the food warmer.

Johnny Rockets

4 out of 5

This was a fun afternoon stop for milk shakes. Would go back and sample more but hard when so much other food is already paid for.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The headliner (Dan Gabriel) was ok. We have seen better headliners. The singers and dancers on this ship were some of the best we have had. Better than what we have had on the Liberty of the Seas the last couple times.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Personnel are always great. We have enjoyed and bonded more with other waitstaff and stewards but ours were still great. Everyone on the ship was friendly and outgoing.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
We like larger newer ships but the Adventure was good. Big enough to have variety and pretty well maintained. Public areas were good with some minor maintenance issues. Our stateroom was showing wear.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Average inside cabin showing wear. We like the inner hall for less traffic.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We use self disembarkation and find it expedient if you can handle your bags and navigate stairs. Love the photo recognition for passports at customs and immigration.
