Review summary

Ok, not great. Not impressed with Royal Caribbean food at all. Been on other cruise lines with much, much better food.

Unfortunately the food wasn't great. Very limited items in buffet and most were over cooked. Food in the dinning room was poor. Ordered a NY Strip steak and it was gray in color, paper thin and inedible. One night prime rib was excellent. Very disappointed in food quality over all. In addition they were out of different beers every day. Will not purchase a drink package again.

You know, I never find it great. Sometimes very good , sometimes not so good. But it always generally meets my expectations for what I'm going to get for the price I'm paying on either Royal or Carnival. Especially with the prices as of late. I can't even stay in a fleabag hotel for these daily rates on the ships

Just curious as to what people that don’t enjoy food on a cruise normally eat at home? I’ve always been happy with the food on ships, but must be missing out at home since so many seem disappointed when cruising.

Good that everything was good but food for you. We love the food but everyone's tastes are different. Try another ship with different cooks cooking the food for you.

It appears you enjoyed most aspects of your cruise. Unfortunate that you found the food underwhelming. Hopefully that won't deter you from trying Royal again, maybe a different ship or itinerary.

Glad you enjoyed most of it. Food is obviously subjective. We’ve always found good quality and selection on Royal Caribbean. Post-Covid changes may have affected things.
