Review summary

For the most part the cruise was great. However as a family we had a few issues the water slides were shut down There's only two drink fountains on the whole ship. There are very few teen activity s. Everything on the ship closed by 11:00 or 12:00. The biggest complaint would be the TV in our room or the TV on the boat had no movies no local channels so when you have small kids and you have a curfew there's nothing for the kids to do after a certain time especially if there's no movies or tv channels. The port of calls were great but you had very little time to do anything because everything was squeezed in in a five to eight hour window.

No cruises listed and sail date is the same date it was reviewed, today. Not a verified review, sorry too Shady for me to believe

I agree with maryred the kids teen room is usually rocking unless things have changed due to covid restrictions

Not sure howuch you've cruise Royal before, but did you register your teens to use the "Living Room" club center? Though not many teen and parent activities in the Compass daily, there teen center does its own list of teen activities separately. Also nothing good ever comes from a teen out roaming (or "clubbing") after 1am, Royal's Jr. Cruiser curfew time. As for TV selection the satellite Prime TV channels runs from an infant sensory channel to not so new prime time favorites channel to internationally know classic movie channel. Funny thing is in the past when the ships would latch on to a ship's home port's nationally available worldwide satellite TV availability many complained about some aspect of that too. For some the difference between ship time and their regular broadcast timing or the quality of transmission was the biggest issues.

I would try again post-COVID, when more activities will hopefully be offered.

Appreciate your feedback. Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of the lack of things for your children to do.

Thanks for the review. Cruising during Covid is not the same as it was previously and requires patience and lowered expectations.
