Review summary

CocoCay was the best beach experience ever. Cozumel we did the buggy snorkeling tour, which was just ok. Nice guys but dune buggy had a gear box made of play dough. Did dolphin experience in Freeport and loved! As for the ship, I thought it was clean, well laid out and perfect for starting up again. We really liked it. It’s no Symphony but it held up well. Nice dining room, casino small but not too smoky. Stayed in solarium a lot.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Obviously since Nassau has no terminal, the Royal Hilton did a fine job running us through all the hoops that were required.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Only drawback on food was simply not enough choices. But it is a smaller ship. Thought the MDR was just as good if not better than the Symphony! Pizza always a hit. Windjammer is what it is but decent. Guys whips Johnny’s. Had free room service since we were in a suite. Loved that.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Covid kept ship quieter than usual, but the staff said that our sailing was the first that added several of the games and outdoor bands back! Played golf, son did flowrider, played basketball, shuffleboard , won at trivia twice. Had fun!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Smaller ships don’t have the Broadway performances that say and Oasis does. Most acts would have been lounge acts elsewhere. But we went to all and still enjoyed. Studio B still impressed. Singers at Schooner very good

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Best cabin we’ve ever been in. Clean, spacious, and was a great meeting place for our grown kids who were in regular balconies. Their cabins were small and a bit dated. Ours was phenomenal.

Ship tip

Nur and Regino in MDR were the best. Janel in Windjammer was hilarious and did magic tricks every am. Everyone was friendly

Question about CocoCay. What time do you have to get back to the ship on the first day? Do you get to be on the island at night? We are doing the same cruise in a couple of weeks.

Have been on Adventure twice and have enjoyed it. It is not as fancy as some of newer ships...but still nice. Glad you enjoyed your cruise
