Very nice ship. Great Staff, a fair amount of activities on board. There was for fun at night, we were disappointed that it seemed as if 90% of the people on board were old (around 50+). Opportunities for dancing were either the Latin club, where it was mostly people who really knew what they were doing, or Jester's. That club really didn't get hoppin' until 1pm (we were told) which would mean a tough start the next day on various island.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Same food every day for breakfast and lunch got quite boring. Dinner in the dining room was nice and food was good. Lots of selections, and plenty of healthy options in the dining room.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Shows were moderate, with some being excellant and some being pretty poor. The reason for the overall poor rating is that my wife and I really wanted to dance, and there were little opportunities to do so in a crowd of 20-40 yr old crowd.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
There are a few people we were in touch with on a daily basis. Our room attendant was great! Our dining room waiter was terrible. Not very nice, not attentive to detail, never introduce himself or got to know our names, and then asked us on numerous occasions to give him an excellant rating.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I really liked it, although we saw pictures and video of Royal Caribbean's newer, gigantic ships, and that looks even better then ours. Only problem with larger and better ships is that people are less inclined to get off the ship at ports.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Certainly a bit old and worn, but perfectly adaquate for the cruise.
Pros: Beautiful ship
Cons: Very old crowd. Not much fun/dancing opportunities
