April 2015 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Splendor
A few issues but a great time
We had a great time on the splendor. Fun ship, good entertainment. Natalie in the piano bar was awesome. A couple issues we had. Room svc. Is spotty at best. They forgot our food/coffee 3 of the times we ordered. We had to call back a few times after waiting over an hour for a pot of coffee. I also ordered a birthday decor in the room for my wife. Since our breakfast was an hour late we were still in the room and all we got was a card. After an argument with the desk I did get a refund. Other than that the service staff in the dining hall was incredible, cruise director was funny and always available. Bartenders around pool area were available but not pushy as Ive experienced in the past. Great Great trip. Going back in February.
Carnival Splendor

the Mayan ruin/Wallace River tour was amazing....Bring sunblock
DONT BUY ANYTHING shops are crazy expensive, book excursion with locals not ship. cheaper and smaller with same tours
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
never made port, weather did not permit
very organized, way better than port Canaveral
Did a mayan tour, was very old, no pyramids, nice history but not epic
Carnival Splendor
Buy the pre paid drink options for anyone who plans on having a few heavy drinking days. The pre paid soda option is not worth it unless you plan to bring your own bottle of liquer on board.
