The ship itself would only get 3 stars while the ports we were able to visit would get 5 stars. The food was not up to standard and while we loved our room, the small size of the balcony disappointed us. The biggest disappointment was missing the scenic cruising of the fjords. Also the tender service was poorly administered and wait time unacceptable.

It was the best 10 days cruise Ive ever had. The beaches are nothing like we have in Australia. The people that live on the islands were so friendly it was unbelievable.

Nice cruise but not up to the Princess standard. Very slow drink waiter service in Horizon Court, pool deck and Crooners. Service at The Wheelhouse was much better. Ship felt old and had some issues on with plumbing and smells. Also felt like the ship was understaffed . Lovely bedding but tiny balcony and cabins in general.

The staff was professional and friendly. The Cruise Director was excellent. He can connect with passengers of all ages determined to make their cruise a happy event. Admiration PJ!

A good cruise for a first timer as it has a nice mix of shopping, history and nature. You can eat and drink everything and it is a safe country to visit.

I highly enjoyed my cruise on the Golden Princess to New Zealand. It was nice to be able to cruise from Adelaide. Staff and entertainment were amazing on-board with high quality musicians and service. The Golden Princess is looking a little tired as Princess doesn't appear willing to do anything other than short term maintenance before the ship's hand-over to P&O Australia in October 2020. Lovely cruise, ship was ok but have been in better one.

A fantastic and unforgettable experience! Can't wait to go on another cruise. Would love it to be the Explorer of the Seas again. The crew were fantastic.

Highly recommend the Jewel. Terrific staff, family friendly, great dining options, yummy cocktails, talented staff, awesome entertainment. Loved the pool deck. Onboard activities were fun to watch and join in. Loved the towel art each evening. Something for everyone.

It was only a short cruise however you can have a weekend in Brisbane before you board at lunchtime Sunday. It honestly feels like a weeks holiday and yet it is only a 2 night cruise.

i absolutely loved the cruise the only thing i found was if im paying for a alcoholic cocktail id like to taste the alcohol i found in some places on the ship i was getting charged for one but tasted like lollie water i even told them but it never changed so i stopped buying them not wasting my money

THE NEWLY REFURBISHED JEWEL OF THE SEAS IS VERY WELCOMING INDEED !!! ONE THING THAT STANDS OUT IS THE NIGHTLY SHOWS, AND THERE IS ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE IT " EXCELLENT". THE WEATHER WAS FANTASTIC WHICH HELPED IF ONE WISHES TO EAT OUTDOORS.

Fantastic ports (Kangaroo Island was best) but I was too ill to do any on-shore activities.

Marina rooms are showing its age but the food was Oceania 5 star

Thoroughly enjoyed the Ovation of the Seas, the ship is huge & absolutely stunning although i wouldn’t classify it as a “luxury” cruise like its portrayed! If they could improve the food and customer service I would rate it 5*
