Excellent trip! Originally it was just the two of us going, but we quickly grew to a group of 11. Although we did much separately, we were very appreciative of the dining room staff that arranged a table for all of us in the main dining room each evening.

Overall OK cruise. NOt impressed with food. NCL App is awful. Never works

This was a good way to visit an area of the world where we have not spent much time in the past, and avoid the snow and cold at the same time!

It was a great cruise overall. The staff on the ship make up for the areas that lacked. Everything from Norwegian is an upsell and they don't give you any true feelings. The extra $1500 for Premium Plus felt like a scam because everything we paid extra for ran out about halfway through the cruise. The "unlimited" internet is limited by the ship's bandwidth. We had a blast and it was a memorable trip, but there are many areas for improvement.

This was a wonderful cruise for the holidays. The only thing that the Norwegian Star needs to fix is the internet. Basically, non existent. They do not have Star Link and should not even sell packages. That being said, they did refund those packages. Antartica was a breath taking trip.

itinerary curtailed to eliminate more than half the original stops. Ended up spending 2 days at sea sailing around in circles in the Persian Gulf. Substitute beach stop on Sir Bani Yas was quite unsatisfactory, offering little more than a beach

This was our 24th cruise. Each one is different, but there are many similarities. The locations we visited in South Africa are so different from what we encountered elsewhere in the world. We were in a more primitive environment overall. The ship personnel took care of us well, the ship took us where we were going reliably, and the atmosphere on board was pleasant and made us feel safe. One special note: I play the piano and hoped to find a piano I could play on to retain my skills. I found one in the Drawing Room and had a chance to play a few Christmas tunes out there. I liked that, and the very few passengers who joined me in that room seemed to enjoy the music.

Overall , great experience in ALL aspects. Will do this cruise again.

The cruise was too long with too many sea days. The ports were not exciting at all. Could have stayed overnight in Taipei and Hong Kong, and skip the port in Toba and the first two ports in Vietnam. Will not choose this ship at all in future.

This crew/itinerery needs a lot of work. Poor planning and organization top to bottom. Problems with embarkation/debarkation, problems with communication with passengers, cancellation of a major port of call, poor recognition/care of latitude members, problems with inventory of wines, very few truly great crew members. We liked some of the places we visited very much but it was not the pleasant joyful cruise experience we are used to on Norwegian. We are hoping Norwegian makes it up to us on our next cruise to Hawaii as this will be our whole family including grandkids. Hopeful for a return to what we normally expect from Norwegian.

The scenery was fab when we could get ashore and if your excursion did go, they were great. The service, ship, and food were first rate which is good since not much to do on board. Best thing was pre trip to Easter Island.

This was a very unsafe cruise and should have been cancelled. No one was happy about this cruise due to safety concerns. The front desk staff was uncaring and pretty much did not want to hear any concerns. We also had 2 nights of "black out" due to high risk Pirate areas in the Red Sea which we were not informed of prior to the cruise. UNSAFE! UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Overall we enjoyed the cruise. Organization for em and disembarkation could have been way better. Excursions meeting time and place could have been better. Had to report at meeting place at 715am but was not called till 830am. All this time waiting. But it was still a good cruise

I have been on NCL cruise and I think this one is the worst I have ever done. We spent a lot of $$$ for the shore excursions and did not have enough time to do or had to cancel because of always delayed disembarkation..ex. we docked at 7:00 am and we did not disembarked till 1:00pm. Our tour guide has been waiting for us sine 8:00am. late disembarkation and early return to the ship was the cause for missing most of our paid excursions

Did not like that they charged extra and way too much for everything specialty dining was $65pp aprox & drink package & wifi was also ridiculously priced

Great cruise. Unusual itinerary. Our bucket list was to visit Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Overall the service is good, food is good, and drinks are great, but not much onboard activity

We had a wonderful time and would love to come back. I highly recommend it while you are young and can still climb stairs easily. Lots of walking.
