Quick Weekend Getaway by gnat909

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

This is a nice ship with plenty of activities to keep you busy. It is a big ship and when sailing at full capacity feels crowded.

Excellent dining crew..Bawa, Robin, and Johannes. They catered to our likes and needs on the second night. I was impressed that I was given hot water on the second night without asking. Housekeeper, Jay, did an excellent job making sure our room was neat by jacquecer

Amazing ship with the best crew and staff. Navigator of the Seas had so many amenities. We traveled with young children and in a large group and it was fantastic. Will cruise again soon! by kydglendora313

Overall a little disappointed. by Lawrence2018

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

Overall we were disappointed with the extras we thought we may receive with paying for a suite. Turns out they did not really have anything extra. We ended up in very long lines and almost 2 and a half hours to just get onboard and they did not have anyone to assist or to take our luggage. There was really no special area for suites for loading or unloading. I'm not saying we are any better than anyone else but if you pay the extra something should come with it. The service we received wasn't even close to what we have received in the past with concierge class on Celebrity. On the plus side, if you are traveling with children there are many things to do but plan on waiting in long lines.

Fantastic Baja Mexico Cruise by ashvinsingh

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

Cruise is aesthetically one of the best. The layout makes it easy to access the decks without having to take an elevator each time. Most of the day will be spent on the upper decks, and most of the evenings will be spent on the lower decks. Activities and shows are well scheduled and plentiful...ie rock climbing, ice skating, flow rider, water slides, casino, various evening show headliners. One knock on the cruise is that the food ingredients are absent and NOT vegetarian/vegan labeled (though it does have a decent vegan menu for dinner). There are no deserts for vegans either.

Fantastic Escape From Reality by egomez866

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

This being our first cruise there was a lot of information we were not familiar with. It took some asking around but by the end of the first day on the ship we were able to take advantage of the free activities on the ship (shows). Being on a budget, we only took advantage of what we did not have to pay for. The coffee, juices, and lemonade in the buffet and dining room was good enough for us (we normally have soda with our meals). We came away from this experience very relaxed.

We loved the cruise. We don’t do trivia. There was a lot of that. But a lot of people liked it.

Nice cruise vacation by gankiewicz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

I likened the ships staff that were responsible for debarkation at ports and at the end of the cruise as apathetic and control freaks. When informed we were entitled to express debarkation we were given answers such get a permission pass from guest relations; we were always placed in the back of the line causing loss of time at ports. Port debarkation was the same we were suppose to to get express debarkation which staff refused to honor.

Hard working crew by erinvanry

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Radiance / Destination: Mexico

We had fun on our cruise. Our adult children were shocked about the port city of Ensenada. Very poor country with showing signs of depressed economic issues. It is surprising a stop for Carnival cruises. We did no go to the blow hole we stayed in town and walked around. Sad place with small children begging.

Birthday Bash Extravaganza by billtannehill

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Radiance / Destination: Mexico

Even while seasick this was a perfect birthday. I suggest getting the patch to avoid seasickness. Our two excursions were absolutely amazing. Rigo gave a great tour in Ensenada. I also recommend Shah’s Chicken onboard. Delicious chicken strips! Lastly, Deon was so much fun as the cruise director. Hearing his voice on the speaker always brought smiles to our faces.
