We had a great week. Hats off and many thanks to the kitchen staff for the excellent food and service. They offered multiple times to prepare food for my 10 month old grandson. Wonderful service at the Guest Service desk. Well organized, smooth embarking and debarking in every port.

My Last Minute Vacation by DEMI321

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

Overall I would choose another ship if possible with a pool for kids only (if it is a family trip.) I felt this ship catered to a party crowd, and I get it when alcohol is served money is a great revenue. Lower the music in the main area where the pool was. It was so inundating even at breakfast time I would venture down to the other side of the ship. The stewards were great and my room was very cozy and clean.

Relaxing cruise by FamilyCruiser10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

We had a great time. Everything went smoothly. I would recommend getting older kids involved more. It’s hard to talk them into separating from their siblings to join others their age. My boys would have loved a basketball hoop somewhere.

The crew on the ship were all so nice and helpful! Loved the spa experience! I won bingo which was so much fun! The serenity 21 and up section was a perfect relaxing place on the ship. Food was so good! Loved the breakfast omelette, burgers and ice cream!

1st Cruise experience ever by WillyWonka15

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

We didn't go on with any expectations as this was our first cruise ever as a couple. It was also testing cruises out to see if we should bring our kids on the next one. The ship was clean and the service was awesome. I'm a General Manager in hotels so I'm kind a critic when it comes down to it and the cruise didn't disappoint with the overall service and cleanliness. The evening dinner was great all around and the food was good there, that's the one where you dress up for. The other buffets were just ok, some of the food was just overcooked and dry so it wasn't that appealing or tasty. They did have a variety which was good. All in all it was a fun cruise and yes I would do it again regardless.

I want to go again by B6340

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Splendor / Destination: Mexico

its our first cruise and didnt know what to expect. we were surprised at how well we were taken cared of - like THIS IS WHAT A VACATION IS! One of the biggest contributing factor to how awesome this vacation is , is the deal we got at . The onboard credit really helped with the fees and charges. We almost didnt want to go home, but there are bills to pay :( We are already planning on our next cruise because we enjoyed the experience immensely!

Average. Food was not that good. by sams4831

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

The pool was small and over crowded. Teen club 02 was nice and kids enjoyed it. Food was average, not many choices or very tasteful. Our excursion was not complete, we were supposed to go downtown after La Bufadora and there was not time. Our Junior suite cabin was definitely not worth the 3,000 I paid for 3 days.

Fun Times by CDR2018

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

Overall, we had a great time aboard the Imagination. Our two kids (8 and 9 years old) enjoyed the Kids Club options as well as the whole boat entertainment. The only part that was not exceptional was the food. It was certainly edible and I did enjoy not preparing or cleaning up, but we're used to eating higher quality food.
