NICE SHIP.....BAD POLICIES REGARDING SMOKING IN OPEN AIR DINING AREAS.

This cruise is once in a lifetime opportunity everyone should take. Is just wonderful how you go to different parts of the world and how the ship was very clean, a whole lot of delecious food, nice and friendly staff.

The ship was large, offering a variety of options for cruisers. The most surprising was an ice skating rink. I wanted to try that out, but time was not on my side. I did enjoy the cigar bar. The theater for shows was spacious and the seats comfortable. The big events in the Royal Promenade made for a very crowded area making it hard to move through all the people.

If you are prepared to pay extra for a good cup of coffee, real glass of juice or even bottled water, than this cruise is for you, The ship was beautiful, and service mostly attentive, but their "nickel and dime" attitudes really turned us off. The European crowds are pushy, loud and rude, so be prepared for this particular experience. They charged 20 Euros for one hour of horrific Internet service, and complaining fell on deaf ears. Their bottom line is this: Sucker you in with a low rate, and then charge for everything else. I would never go with MSC again...

Public areas were always spotlessly clean. Staff were not well trained - twice we were witness to a supervisor reprimanding staff in front of guests. Also, our dining staff thought nothing of leaning across us to gather items from the table. Food, that's the biggest complaint. Food in the dining room was often served luke-warm. Steaks were a disaster! The kitchen seemed to have no idea of the difference between a medium and a well-done steak.

Everything was great. The cost of the cruise was fair. The people who worked on the ship and the passengers were refined, polite, and gracious.

the music was wonderful, good variety, great info on shopping! however I am not a shopper. excersion desk very helpful actually went above and beyond on my last tour. The dancers were awsome. Verry talented. CONS: the smell of rotten eggs never went away. The laundry rooms and machine's were discusting. The water flow to these machines were inadequete and staff at the desk would not listen. After third time they did refund money and then cleaned my clothes for nothing. No coffee locations in the afternoon you had to buy it in the cafe! Also in the mornings they never had enough and there was not a server you had to get up and stand in line again to get a second cup or wait till they brewed more.

The ship was amazing and so was the crew and the food. Could not have asked for more. Had a great time and they where very accomidating to many languges, espeically english. But Be Warned. This is an italian cruise and most of the people on board are too. If you are ok with this going in and know how to deal with their very rude and pushy personallitys then you will be fine.

Ship was large with lots of passengers. With that many passengers food had to be prepared in bulk form. It is in need of some refurbishing.

After a disorganized departure in Livorno, Italy, we thoroughly enjoyed MSC's Sinfonia. There were few Americans aboard, but we enjoyed the mix of Italians, Spanish, Germans, and other English speakers. The food, Italian, was great and we enjoyed many dishes that we had only read about.

We had a wonderful time on the Voyager of the Seas. It was our first cruise, and overall it was incredible. The food was good, the excursions were very well planned, and the rooms were nice. I wish there were a few more activities available for some of the younger cruisers (most evening events were geared towards 40+), but overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Colorful, cheerful and easy access to where ever you needed to go. Directions are very clear. The Norwegian Gem is the perfect size ship for my husband and myself.

As already stated by many others the food was not great. We have taken several cruises in the past and this has been the worst one yet.

The ship was beautiful, clean and the crew as helpful and welcoming. They really do try and anticipate your every need. There is something for everyone - including kids!

Ship was modern and well equipped. Balcony cabin was good size.

The ship was wonderful. The food was excellent particularly in the dining rooms. The service by the crew was excellent. The entertainment on board the ship was excellent. The only thing that was not excellent was the quality of the port excursions. Save your money and stay on the ship. The tours were hurried and the information for the most part received was shallow. The "easy tours" were better than the regular tours which involved chasing the tour director through the sites as they POINTED to various sites. No in-depth information was ever imparted. Once, one of the people involved with the excursions was actually rude because someone accidentally boarded the wrong bus.

The staff was courteous and attentive. The food was plentiful and very good. The entertainment was excellent. The ship was clean, staterooms were well serviced. Activities were plentiful and well organized. Very nice ship, we would recommend it to our friends.

when we first stepped on the ship I was overwhelmed by the attention to detail. As we got used to the deck plans, I truely enjoyed wandering around the ship and in all of the different rooms finding all of the unique features. The staff were incredible and really made the cruise a wonderful experience.

The ship was smaller than we were used to but it did have everything we wanted. The staff were friendly and worked hard to make our vacation perfect. Cruising around Italy was wonderful and allowed us to see different regions. All of the excursions were great fun and allowed us to personalize our cruise.

The ship was well designed and clean. Good variety of food and well presented. The Captain gave regular updates on all aspects of weather and ports. Excursions were well organized and departures from the ship stress free. The lack of assigned meal times and table assignments allowed us to meet many different people and form memorable friendships. The size of the ship made it easy to get around. U.S Dollars were the ship currency and currency exchanges for various countries were handled quickly and efficiently. This made shopping easy. We will definitely cruise on Azamara again and we recommend it to anyone.
