Great Vacation! by JeanneM2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Brilliance of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship was very nice. With all the glass, there was a lot of light and it was easy to have a nice view of the scenery from wherever you were. As a non-smoker, I would have preferred that the casino was non-smoking.

cruise to remember by Traveler13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Century / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The ship size ws just right for me(1500)- The ship staff and all the new people we met made our trip memorable. The ship was clean, the food was great and all staff answered our questions with ease. we were so impressed with the staff that we found people away from the ship of less quality. I also enjoyed dressing formally for dinner.

Tiring but worth it. by DanA2

The cruise was well worth it. The land tour on the other hand were a little pricey and we encountered unsatisfactory tour guides.

Over the Top Cruise by JoannaA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

LOVED the Voyager of the Seas. Had heard about it years ago but didn't realized until we got there that this was the ship I longed to be on one day, so it was a marvelous surprise. It took a while to take advantage all the amenities on the top (like rock climbing, miniature golf, in-line skating, a chapel), but once I did, WOW! It's a WOW experience not worth missing!

Great Adventure! by BethannS

Sail date: /
Ship: Celebrity Century / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Beautiful, clean, just the right size. Excellent service very decent entertainment. Food selection was very good! Buffets were great dining room could have had slightly better selections that should be brought appropriately hot and or cold. Our room was a very nice size...our 13 yo shared with us but it was fine. The balcony was great and the TV was a nice sized flat screen. All of the service personnel were very very pleasant!

Great time by PeterF1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Century / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Rooms were well maintained. Service was excellent. Shore excursions were well organized. Our flight to leave was early and they were able to get us out and to the airport on time for departure.

Beyond expectations by FredB3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Gem / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Upon entering the ship on deck 7 into the Crystal Atrium our first impression was "Wow". The beautiful modern elegance is consistent throughout the entire ship. The Freestyle Dining concept suited us very well, as we did find ourselves hungry at very different times of day, depending on the activities on shore and the timing thereof. The quality of food was exceptional, even at the cafeteria buffet "Garden Caf", which became our favorite.

Mixed emotions cruise by LuisJ

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Voyager of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

We took this cruise because or the price and the ports of calls. We had been previously to Rome and Florence and wanted to visit again these beautiful cities. We did it...but at what a pace. There is nor enough time to enjoy the many attractions that both places have to offer. The rest is old stale shows, food that try to pass as "gourmet" with little success and on board prices that make the savings disapear in the first 24 hours...! Dissapointing!

Mediterranean Bliss by RonnieF96652974

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Orchestra / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was my 4th cruise, but 1st European cruise. I loved the itinerary to Genoa, Spain and Lisbon. The ship is huge and watching the captain dock this monster every day in a different port was a show in itself! Kudos to the captain and his staff for a job well done. Everything about the ship was wonderful. I was especially impressed with the trip through the Straight of Gibraltar.

Disappointed by RobertC13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Dream / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

November 18, 2009 Both my wife and I have been cruising for the past 25 years and feel that the latest cruise on Carnival Dream (15Oct09) was less than fully acceptable. The location (Mediterranean) was excellent, the ship was excellent plus the Ports of Call were also excellent. Our concerns were that the little things were lacking: 1. The food presented in the dining room was never provided hot. It was warn and eatable but not hot. This was pointed out to our Waiter. 2. We had our breakfasts at the Buffet, however, nobody was passing to provide a second cup. Back in the lineup to get your own. 3. The entertainment was in our opinion at a College level not the Professional level we expected except for the Soprano on one occasion. 4. The tours (which we took four) were overpriced for the quality that was received. The Monaco tour was a complete disappointment after paying $200.00 each. 5. When not taking a tour we were required to pay an additional $10.00 each for the Shuttle to transport you off the dock. Never required to pay for this on any other Cruises. We have a Cruise planned for Christmas but have decided that we will forgo any future Cruises for the next few years. We still plan to continue travelling but will select an alternative method. Regards: Robert Carson Yvonne Washer-Carson

"An Amazing Cruise" by SuzanneK2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was the first time cruise for us. The state room we had was just amazing with everything you needed in a conservative amount of space. The balcony was great it was so romantic at night to look out over the sea with the moon shinning on the water. The dinning and service at night was great . The entertainment was very good. A overall great first time event.

It could have beem better by CarolynG7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Legend of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Oue luggage was left outside in the rain the last night of the cruise. When we arrived at the hotel after the cruise everything was wet it was a mess. The waitors were not sincere about how they treated us. They are only thinking about the money. Internet was lousey and very expensive for all we spent we only actually were on line a few minutes. It was so slow but the time clock kept ticking. The coffee was terrible we had to buy special coffee's everyday. The shows were okay.

Great traveling hotel by TomH2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Century / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Good ship and excellent dinners in the main dining room. Quality of the buffet, however, was low. As in all cruises, avoid the excursions, which are overpriced and don't allow you to get a good feel for the ports and their surrounding areas -- set out on your own instead, using local transportation. The ship's staff was hard-working and upbeat. On-ship entertainment was not a highlight.
