The previous cruise had some medical issues, so we were subjected to enhanced cleaning standards...I think this gave some of the crew an excuse to slight some of the details that Celebrity is known for...I never got a water pitcher in my cabin, for example; had to ask for laundry bags and for my Captain's Club coupons. While it was enjoyable and the Constellation is a very nice ship, the cruise simply was not up to Celebrity's standards. It won't make me avoid Celebrity, but it didnl't leave me jumping for joy either.

Overall this was a wonderful cruise.

INTIMATE, EXCELLENT DINING IN DINING RM, MORE FREQUENT USE OF DINING RM FOR LUNCH THAN OTHER CRUISE SHIPS, SHIPS HOUSEKEEPING CREW WERE EXCELLENT

Very nice ship, a little smaller then others we have been on but very nice.

I just finished the cruise and it was well worth the trip.

Ship was a good size. The upgrades of ship helped a lot. The bedrooms could still have some updating but the baths were better. Like the choice dining very much. Smooth sailing was great!

Ship appeared to need a major upgrade. Food was ok but not great, have had much better on several other cruises. Ships crew was teriffic, went out of way to help whenever needed. Entertainment was what is normally expected on a cruise ship (not too good and not too bad(

Based upon my evaluation of the main dinning room food service, I would not recommend this ship. I thinh Princess and Celebrity offer better value.

ship was like new

The sights were exceptional. The staff was right there to help yet were out of the way when we wanted to be left to ourselves. The land excursions were perfect for our needs. The balance between organized activities and our free and alone time was perfect for us.

There is nothing negative to say about this trip. The ship is amazing and kept very clean. A lot of entertainment and the food is amazing. Whether you go to the buffet or to the formal dining room there are many delicious choices.

We trhoroughly enjoyed the layout of the ship. Although it wasd close to sold out we never felt cramped in any way. The elevators were fast, the crew was very helpful, and the ship was beautifully laid out.

Older ship, but very clean. Wait staff were adaquate, but not friendlly. (We were anytime dining.) Princess not effecient with dining, because they allow anyone access to anytime dining, which made it difficult to get setting at peak times. The entertainment was very good, with a new change to shorter events and more light effects, which improved the performances. Our room attendant was VERY deficient in English and could barely communicate our needs. (Bed linens were not changed daily and we had to send notes to have them changed!) We have cruised often and this was the first time we had been turned away from an evening production, which was dissapointing. Princess' policy of "nickel and diming" you for everything, was also dissapointing. Having said this, we enjoyed the cruise because of great ports of call, and this was why we choose this cruise. However, we will begin to look at other cruise lines in the future for our cruise needs. Princess is loosing our loyalty. (We are Premium cllub members.)

ship was smooth (even in choppy waters); clean; service v. good and prompt replies; wonderful dinner group (8 total); fresh fruit and veg. amazing since we were at sea for 10 nights before any stops

The ship has no laundry for self washing and the ship laundry was so expensive for the size of the laundry bag. It is a rip off

My husband and I were impressed with the ship and crew. The cruise director was outstanding. The Lecturer each day gave excellent presentations - the best in our experience. We would highly recommend this ship and this cruise line.

It's clear that being purchased by Carnival has not enhanced the cruise experience offered by HAL.
