Nice vessel. Well designed cabin. Great ports of call. Very freindly and attentive staff. The entertainment in the main theater was hit and miss as was the food. some great meals but some not so great due to cheap ingredients. Surprisingly limited choice of fresh fruits. overall a very positive Trip. fair value for the $$$

This is a great cruise. We were not really concerned with food, cabin arrangements, entertainment, etc. To me they are all about the same and we have sailed with Celebrity, New Holland, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Princess. The most important thing for us was to get to see these beautiful cities. The sailing was like on glass...would hardly know you were in the water. There are about 20 hours of daylight and that is why we chose an inside room...we sleep better in darkness. When the sun is out the temperatures are a little on the cool side but perfect walking about weather. On cloudy days it is jacket weather. Beautiful part of the world!

Another wonderful Cruise with HAL! Several days of chilly, rainy weather could not ruin our enjoyment of Western Norway & her beautiful fjords & mins!

I would say that our stateroom attendants were particularly good and helpful with out specific needs. We spent most of the time in Entertainment venues at Lincoln Center Stage and almost none at the other entertainment venues. We did very few on board activities but did enjoy Americas Test Kitchen several times. We enjoyed meals in the dining room on Level 2 and are pleased with the service we were provided there which was excellent. As for the itinerary it would have been better if possible to spread the sea days more evenly as they were concentrated more toward the end of the cruise and there was only one port on the way back from Honningsvag.

We were a group of 18 people and were treated llike royalty. I would be happy to do it again.

Gorgeous itinerary, older ship but great. Ports are outstanding.

Excellent cruise. Smooth and comfortable. Excursions were very good. Issues handled on-board with grace and efficiency.

Peter provided excellent service for our cabin, and Joseph D'Souza, and Mohamad Haerudi were excellent in the main dining room. We enjoyed Giavanni's and the service (food was excellent), however Chops was not as good--the food was excellent but the service was average. The Casino staff (Marcela, Adriana, Victor etc--I know I am leaving many of them out but those not mentioned were the best as well) was the BEST--excellent with our group, and fun to be around. The Bartenders in the Schooner Bar and the Casino were excellent. We enjoyed the entertainment, especially the magician and the Beatles Maniacs. Jamie and his staff (Tammy for instance) were fun/excellent. How do they keep the energy going all day long? We had a great trip. The ship is beautiful, clean, well appointed. The food service, quality and taste was superb in the dining room and specialty restaurants but close to poor on the Lido. We have been on other Holland cruises where the Lido food and selection/taste was far better. We ate breakfast in the Lido when we were in port and anxious to disembark to enjoy the stop but that was it. Badly organized too.

The cruise was excellent - a great itinerary and a great staff.

Overall, the ports were great but the ship was a disappointment. Unlike prior cruises where there were nice areas where passengers could sit and view aft or forward, there was very limited common area seating inside. The water slide and ropes course were wasted space in our opinion. Also, I'd recommend looking into arranging private excursions versus the high priced NCL excursions. The two we took were disappointing. Be very careful when booking your cabin. We'd recently been in a mini-suite on a smaller ship and found it nice so we booked one on this trip. Originally we had a mini-suite on deck 10 with an aft balcony that was very large, but we changed it when we discovered it was intended for wheelchair passengers. Our daughter was on deck 14 so we switched to a mini-suite on that deck. We didn't realize, though, that this meant we'd have a much smaller cabin than if it was on a lower deck. The cabin was almost identical to my daughter's balcony cabin except that it had a bigger bathroom. If I'd realized this, we would have booked on a lower deck or changed to a balcony cabin. It definitely wasn't worth the price.

Wonderful ports! Honestly, could've skipped Helsinki and spent more time in Stockholm.

Food quality is so so. Not much of a variety. Exact same menu at the Mahattan Dinning Room every evening. Entertainment is below average. Seafood night has shrimp and fish. Crab and Lobster are nowhere to be found. Room cleanliness is average.

Fun and we covered 6 countries in 10 days. Learned much of the cultures of each country. Great cruise except for the soap dispenser on all public restrooms that took forever for the liquid soap to come out. This has to be resolved.

We loved this ship and it's crew, and enjoyed all of the ports which were new to us!

Absolutely the best cruise we’ve ever been on, and it was our 16th cruise! Norway is a place of incredible beauty. Think Alaska but Better! The ship is magnificent as well. The Flam Railway is a must do excursion. Put this cruise on the top of your bucket list! The one low point was Molde, Norway. The weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t get to see the 222 mountain peaks and there not much else to do in Molde.

Too many passengers creating long lineups for ship services.

Scenery was stunning, people friendly, cabin gorgeous. But the food was such a disappointment. Having to pay for everything - in-room movies, fish and chips, ice cream - was really off-putting. And there was nothing special: no afternoon teas, no special brunches, no glorious desserts. The food was presented poorly and often not prepared well. We missed the special touches from Princess: chocolates on the pillow, live string quartets, in-room movies, and the spa's Chocolate Indulgence body treatments.

Food was excellent! Entertainment was not that good other than the Manhattan Room was great for dancing. Compared to other cruises the entertainment was lacking.

This is a new and great Design ship. The services in main dinning room and Cleanliness are great, but the food was the worst compare to my 4 previous trip of cruises
