Awesome cruise by roxannedonnan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas

The only disappointment was that the one picture I wanted was us in our Christmas pajamas with Santa Claus. I did not think that would be a problem on a Christmas cruise, but, it was. We only saw Santa once, when he, of all things, was calling a Volleyball tournament?!? The only time Santa was mentioned was on Christmas Day, odd since he does his work on Christmas Eve. He was with the children at 8:30 in the morning and it said 17 years old and under! I thought surely there would be photo ops with Santa all the way up to Christmas Day.

It was a good overall experience for the first cruise we went on. Only problem we had was one of our suitcases lost the wheels when they brought them to cabin.

Lacked entertainment by clintbook052026

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas

The ship needs to do a better job of getting information out to the passengers and find a way to create more activities for people that don’t want to drink all day or play in the pool or sports. The casino was fun and the staff was very inviting

Weathertainment! by gepierre

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Liberty of the Seas

Inclement weather with wind gust and downpours in Nassau. Made the best of the trip. Enjoyed the shows, dining experiences, and some activities. Should have offered more rainy day activities as not to feel coop up. The buffet was a disaster on the first sea day. Did not return. Sorrento has great pizza! Enjoyed daily. The cruise was ok but we booked to enjoy coco cay and that was cancelled.

An absolute blast and loads of fun! by AndeeM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Liberty

Enjoyed this cruise mostly because of our friends. Our room steward Bo did an excellent job in making our trip enjoyable! Our dining team was kind and helped us celebrate our anniversary by singing to us and offering a special dessert. Loved the photo opps but picture packages were expensive. We left not feeling compensated for the money we spent. On the last day freebies were offered to guests who spent far less. Overall good fun. Looking forward to cruising again but will choose a different cruise line for more upscale vibe.

Memorable family cruise by Cruiser53874824

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Silhouette

We had a wonderful time with our family. Enjoyed the food and the activities. Since water was cold at the port of call couldn't enjoy it. But inside the ship everything was great. Aninash, Anush and Maureen at the bar were wonderful.

Wonderful Celebrity Cruise experience. by nehachitagi

Need more food variety with vegetarian options. Need more kid friendly shows and activities perhaps like a slide. Liked the 15th deck with the garden and seating. Overall pleasant experience.

Good Trip Overall by bbentley1088

Remember, December cruises will have weird weather. It was cold and the seas were a little fun for a couple of days but the food and entertainment was great.

Not very impressive by ltboulanger

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Silhouette

After 22 cruises, this one rates 1 star only.. Bad food, dirty bathroom and bartenders mostly serving tipping guess… Too bad as we cruise a lot and Celebrity is more targeted to very old people that sleeps everywhere they can sit all over the ship..

Very rocky by npriceexcel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Legend

Singles events should be hosted to engage participants. Activities other than sitting at the bar. Option to choose a floor with no kids. They were running all hours of the night in and out of the rooms. Slamming doors.

Family adventure by Yelsew1962

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

Ahoy there, landlubbers! Gather 'round and let me spin a yarn about the most swashbucklin' family adventure I've ever had – a Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas voyage from Bayonne, setting sail for sun-kissed shores and celebrating a milestone worth of confetti cannons: our daughter's college graduation! From the moment we set foot on Anthem, a behemoth of gleaming steel and endless possibilities, we knew this was no ordinary cruise. It was a floating playground, a shimmering palace of delights where every day brought a new treasure chest full of adventure. We scaled the rock-climbing wall taller than a pirate's mast, braved the heart-stopping drop of Riptide, the tallest waterslide in North America, and emerged giggling like a school of dolphins. Port Canaveral wasn't just a pit stop; it was a gateway to Kennedy Space Center, where we touched the stars and dreamt of cosmic escapades. Back on board, Broadway-worthy shows dazzled under the diamond-dusted night sky, while laughter spilled from the comedy club and the casino pulsed with the thrill of a lucky roll. But the crown jewel of the trip, the siren song of every sun-seeker, was Coco Cay. This wasn't just an island; it was a daydream woven with sugar-sand beaches, turquoise waters that whispered secrets to the shore, and thrill rides that catapulted us into pure joy. We rode the Daredevil's Peak drop slide, a white-knuckle descent that left us breathless and begging for more. Later, we floated in overwater cabanas, feeling like castaways in a paradise painted for two. Nassau, with its pastel-hued houses and infectious Junkanoo beats, felt like stepping into a vibrant postcard. We haggled for souvenirs in the Straw Market, sipped rum cocktails in waterfront bars, and danced the night away under the watchful gaze of a moon as round as a pirate's doubloon. But amidst the whirlwind of activities, the true magic of this cruise bloomed in the quiet moments: family dinners under a canopy of stars, movie nights snuggled under blankets, and whispered stories traded on moonlit balconies. We celebrated our daughter's graduation, not just with a diploma, but with the unbreakable bond forged in shared laughter, salty-hair adventures, and memories that will shimmer brighter than any treasure chest. The Anthem of the Seas wasn't just a ship; it was a canvas where we painted our own masterpiece of togetherness. It was a reminder that the greatest adventures aren't found on maps, but in the hearts of those we hold dear. So, raise a glass (or a Mai Tai!), ye landlubbers, and set sail for your own unforgettable family cruise. Just remember, the real treasure isn't in the ports of call, but in the moments you share along the way.
