Long Beach is closer and much smaller than LAX. Easy to call a ride share or grab a taxi. Long Beach to San Pedro by ride share and taxi were close in price. I believe that we paid about $40 one-way. Disembarkation in San Pedro, there are taxis available right outside the exit doors from the terminal.
