We sailed out of Cape Liberty. Boston: We had a great time and did the excursion on our own since we were in the USA and not at a foreign port. We did the hop on hop off, boat ride and Cheers gift shop. We didn't eat in the restaurant. The shopping in Fanuiel Hall was a lot of fun and we ate in a restaurant called Tia's Water Front restaurant. On our own since we were in the USA: Portland, ME: We did the train ride near the port which was nice and went into the gift shop and the trolley ride and ate in Becky's Diner. We ate there when we took a land vacation/driving in the NE states. On our own since we were in the USA: Bar Harbor, ME : We took a tour on a bus to Acadia National Park and its was beautiful. The shopping was fun with lots of different shops. Excursion through the ship Canada: St John, New Brunswick: Bay of Funday and Pink Bus Hop Off Hop On, observation tower and restaurant there Excursion through the ship. Canada: Halifax, Nova Scotia: Top Ten of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, a. beautiful garden, Titanic Cemetery and mire on this tour. Everything was fantastic and never did this itinerary. If you do this, research about the things you can do on your own in New England. Canada, go through the ship since there are things that cannot be done on your own.

Stay at a hotel that has transport to the cruise port through the cruiseline if you don't have reasonable transportation. The taxi charges are high and the prices quoted in websites are not correct. The pathtrain is reasonable. The water taxi is doable. If you are familiar with the transit system by all means use it. Use common sense when using public transportation. Wear sensible shoes. Some areas have an uneven pavement. Oasis of the Seas does not go in front of the Statue of Liberty. The statue can be seen from the ship but it is not close. Flew in a day prior to cruise and was able to sightsee some. Went to Journal Square and from there able to catch train to New York and then subway. Visited Ellis island didn't make it to Liberty island but able to view statue at a distance.

Parking was a big problem, was in the line for almost an hour. Someone did say a new company took over parking and it was their first day. We'll see if the same thing happens on my next cruise.

Efficient, clean and well organized. About all you need from the port

Inconsistent road directional signage. For $30 per day parking everyone should be in a deck. We were outside on luggage wheel destroying stones.
