I am local and I love Port Canaveral compared to other ports that I have been to. They have great eateries such as Grills, if you like fresh sea food, right next to RCCL terminal.

We always arrive the day before and eat at Grills Seafood and Tiki Bar. Perfect location to watch all the ships sail away right in front of you. The food is delicious! No excursion but this is fun to do in the area.

Fish lips was a great restaurant with a great ship view. Conch fritters were tasty. There are plenty of nearby boating and fishing tours to choose from.

We got a room for the night that offered free parking while on the cruise and they shuttled us to and from the port. The motel was in cocoa beach about 20 minutes away. We made a day of fun in cocoa beach before the day of the cruise

Small port that really has their process and procedures down. They get people through security and customs quickly! It is also in a pretty cool area!

Cruise #26 is in the books! Port Canaveral is always a fast & efficient home port w/ friendly employees. We've had a good experience parking off-site at another port, so I decided to give Park Port Canaveral a try... and I'm so glad we did! Employees were courteous & efficient, but what we appreciated the most was the organization! We dropped off our luggage, checked in, boarded the shuttle, and walked into the cruise terminal in 15 minutes! Our return experience was just as fast & pleasant... the shuttle was waiting for us at the predetermined location. Se will use PPC again!
