Not very organized but the views as you go out are amazing. It’s an easy port to get to and the check in personal are great (except one very not so nice private security lady who scans your stuff as it goes through), I would recommended this port.

This is an easy port to get into and out of. Not too bad with congestion and easily accessible off of the main highway. Embarking was quick, the staff were friendly, the porter we had was the first I have ever encountered that didn't leave my side until the tip was in his hand. (We always tip them, but it's crazy how aggressive he was for it) Now for the 3 stars I gave, well come on Jaxport it's time for an upgrade! The oversized shed for a terminal needs to be razed. It's probably the worst one for cruise terminals i've been to. Then the debarkation process was like slow and this is with only 2,000 passengers. We waited about an hour in the debarkation line, they need more border and custom stations. I have debarked out of Bayonne, NYC, Port Canaveral, and Miami and never had to wait in the customs line more than 20 minutes. I would still sail out of here any day and deal with those minor issues than not take a cruise! Bon voyage!

Older ship, but clean and friendly crew. I had a suite, with bathtub / shower. Bathroom was a good size, larger than the standard. Still only one sink. Across from the bathroom is a 3' x 4' walkin closet. Dressing table w stool and 6 drawers. Room had 3 outlet. Living room has wrap around sofa bed and 2 chairs & 2 small tables. Balcony has 1 deck lounger and 1 chair with small table. This room around the corner from a handicap room and directly across the hall from an interior room. Mid-ship, great location.

We stayed at the Candlewood Suites Hotel. Just a few short blocks to the port ( 7 minutes perhaps ). The gave us cruise parking for both back to back cruises. Huge three room suites with a steak house right next door. Great prices for the rooms too.

Was dissatisfied from the minute we got off the shuttle. While going through checked luggage, half of our group of 14 went through while the rest of us got stopped because they were told to stop letting people go through for five minutes. Not sure what clock they were going by because that five minutes was actually 15 minutes. While we are standing there waiting, the rest of our family are in the next line throwing their hands up like what are we doing? Why are we not coming on? We have never had so much trouble getting on the ship and had already made the decision that Port Canaveral was much more organized and a lot less trouble but we thought once we got on the ship it would be smooth sailing and this experience would fade and probably would have if getting off the ship at Jacksonville had not been the absolute worst experience we have ever had in our many cruises
