We stayed at Margaritaville resort before our cruise and had a great time. The kids had a lot of fun on the Flo rider, and the location on the beach/ boardwalk was really nice. The port was about a 15 minute ride by Uber and the port itself was nice, organized without a long wait.

Embarkation/Debarkation was convienent. Close to airport and hotels. Flew in night before and took hotel shuttle to port.

Very nice city, we were there for 25 hours before our cruise, rented a car and explored. Did Flamingo Gardens and Airboat Ride excursion after the cruise. Loved it.

We had dinner the night before embarking at Pizza Craft Artisan Pizza in Fort Lauderdale. What a great place with a quaint speakeasy type bar attached. I highly recommend making a stop here if you have time before your cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

We only saw Fort Lauderdale for one night. We found a Very cool area near the beach. Ate at Casablanca Cafe based on another persons recomendation. I recommend this place. Great view of ocean.

No matter how hungry you get while waiting for your plane, do not buy a stale $10 sandwich! Probably fresh fruit would be a better choice.
