Want a fun Dinner. Check out the Jungle Queen. Had a great time With entertainment and good food. Beautiful houses going down the water way. And interesting to see who has houses on the waterway in Fort Lauderdale.

We arrived a day before our cruise departed, staying at the Renaissance Cruise Port Hotel. We dined at the Boatyard Restaurant, just behind the hotel, & had a great meal. On the morning of our cruise, we paid $6 per person for a shuttle to the cruise port.

No excursion, but the view leaving the pier as you leave is just absolutely beautiful.

A great ingress and egress port. FLL is nearby as is Ft. Lauderdale beachfront and Hollywood beachfront.

We stayed at the Ramada Port Hotel. Older rooms but certainly comfortable. Free breakfast, free wifi and free transport to and from port and airport. Fun Tiki Bar there and a very nice pool area. We ate at two wonderful restaurants for dinner -- one, The Rendezvous, within walking distance of the hotel, we had two dinners there and one lunch. We took the Water Taxi one day - what a great trip it was! We went to the Doubletree Hotel at the end of the route for lunch and had a really nice, delicious, reasonably priced meal! Fun city, wouldn't mind going back!

Easy in, easy out. Global Entry helped immensely. Total time in, about half an hour. Total time out, about half an hour as well. Will definitely do this port again.
