All though there were seven ships in port, lots of traffic, our taxi driver got us to the ship quickly!

We had a very nice hotel, Baymont Inn on 12th St, with a shuttle provided from the airport and to the cruise port.

We had one day so we bought a water taxi day pass ($28 each) and used it 8 hours to get on and off and see the sights. Definitely got our money worth.

Pre-cruise, we stayed at the Hampton Inn, Plantation (same as last cruise as per recommendation from our excellent travel agent). Free breakfast, and free shuttle to Port Everglades Cruise Terminal. Shopping and restaurants nearby too.

Enjoyed myself. Boarding was swift and easy, finding rooms was fun and easy as well. The ship looked great from a far and even better up close. As travels went on, workers repainted the ship to keep the wonderful glow.

This was for embarkation & debarkation only. The easiest & fastest to get through. When we debarked, we were in our car before 7:30. We had FTTF, carried our own luggage & used park n go for parking our car while on the cruise. We will always use park n go if available. They dropped us right at our car. Fabulous!

We had some time before our cruise ship departed Fort Lauderdale and were looking for something fun and different to do. Fortunately, we found Captain Les and his wife, Lisa, who charter trips on their sailboat, “Mona Lisa”. If you've ever been curious about sailing, or simply thirsty for adventure or just a relaxing day on the water, I definitely recommend a day-charter with Easy-Livin Sailing Adventures. You'll never meet two more charming, warm and hospitable people. We did the 4-hour tour, which you can have up to 8 guests. They also offer several packages on their website. Their yacht “Mona Lisa” is beautiful and very well maintained! There is ample space both inside and out, including 2 bathrooms. You can tell Les and Lisa take great pride in their boat and sailing! They let us bring snacks/wine and even had a snack spread and beverages of their own waiting for us upon our arrival! It was a great day on the water seeing all the beautiful homes and even a few dolphins. They really do go above and beyond to make it the most enjoyable experience, it is one we will not forget! I would recommend Easy-Livin Sailing Adventures to anyone who is in the area, whether just visiting or even a local… it’s a must do! You can visit their website at www.easylivinsailingadventures.com
