Had over night here due to itinerary change. Rented a car on the first dsy, drove to Point Reyes National Seashore, had a picnis lunch in the rain. Returned to town where it had snowed enough to cover the grass. Following day, met with family to walk the city. Went into the Palace Hotel, and SFMOMA.

SF sucks. We parked at a family member house in San Lorenzo and 50$ Uber in and 55$ out. No broken windows on the car!

What a slum. I wouldn’t suggest you walk past pier 39. Just within the last week (June 19,, 2023) there was a running gun battle from the bay bridge to pier 39 with injuries reported.

Quick and efficient embarkation! Very smooth. The employees are quite pleasant, friendly and helpful.

This was a pretty port with lots to do without taking an excursion. A whale watching excursion would have been fun, but we didn't do an excursion here. We walked down to Pier 39 and watched a street performer, did some shopping, and watched the sea lions play. We also ate a a restaurant called Cholita Linda and the food there was really yummy! The views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge were great and we got lots of pictures.

Stayed 2 nights prior to embarkation. Enjoyed staying at Fisherman's Wharf. Rode the cable car to meet our friends & ate dinner in Chinatown.

They do have homeless men in the Fisherman's Wharf area outside of the guarded ship area. They do have a trolley that we could jump on and off and a CVS store.
