First time visiting New Orleans and we enjoyed it very much. Went cafe de monde, just because it was the tourist thing to do. Walked bourbon street, and then went to the ww2 museum. If you plan on doing the museum, have plenty of time because it is very large.

We flew in a day early and stayed in the French Quarter and did a Paddlewheel Boat tour.

No excursion booked, but took our time exploring on our own. Had a great time

The Big Easy, what an iconic city!

We did not arrive until about 5pm and then we had a flight out of New Orleans early the next morning for Chicago. Our late arrive was also due to the 23-hour delay caused by the barges coming loose above Memphis.

This is a great city to spend time in pre or post cruise. It’s a shame that Royal isn’t sailing from there after January.

Easy on and easy off. Got to NOLA the day before, lots of hotel choices near the port. Nice downtown area.
