Just boarded the ship. Nothing else. Checking in going thru security was fine. But, they need to have sections for separating platinum, diamonds, and suites. It would alleviate confusion.

We are sailing out of Mobile Christmas week. I read somewhere that you can pre-buy parking tickets for the garage. Is this true? If so, what site can I purchase them from?

Location made it a little hard to get into, but we were dropped off and picked up so parking wasn’t an issue. Employees inside the terminal were all very friendly and helpful.

We love Mobile and the smaller Carnival Fantasy, but the "off-site" parking should not even be a thing. Expand the terminal garage, it's easy to estimate the number of spaces needed for the Fantasy - God forbid a larger ship ever call this port home. We got to the port 30 minutes before our scheduled arrival, and after driving to the off-site parking, standing in the sun in line to pay, then standing in the sun in line to get on the shuttle, we got inside the terminal an hour late - and paid just as much as to park in the garage! The computers were down, so the check in process was slow, but all of the workers were extremely friendly and very helpful. Our sailing became a "cruise to nowhere," and since we didn't get off the ship, we were able to skip past customs. That was easily the smoothest debarkation I have ever had!
