Loved this place. There is a small shop near port but nothing else really. We took the vok baths tour and am so glad we did. Jumping into the vok lake was an out. Of body experience, it is definitely colder than you think so be careful, it definitely surprised me the first time. When you do it breathe deep and not shallow, I made that mistake and things almost went bad for me. The baths themselves are so nice and warm, perfect for the cold environment. There are many private changing and shower rooms, so no need to worry. They have a free tea bar which is great and a swim up bar.

We Did easy hikes to the "singing concrete cones" which was interesting and to waterfalls. Then we had a delicious lunch in town center at El Grillo Bar. Cod wrapped in foil was amazing and they brew their own beers. I had the lager which was great.

Would have like to have stayed longer in this town - we arrived at night and the small town closed down within hours of our arrival. Stayed overnight in the port and only had a few hours in the morning before we left, no time to do anything.

The ship again docks right in front of the small town--we chose the shore excursion to the Skalanes nature reserve. The trip getting there was exciting--had to ford rivers in a special vehicle with large wheels. I loved seeing the birds--but if you aren't into birds and nature--then try a different shore excursion. Waterfalls are within walking distance from the dock.

Very tiny town on the west coast, but we loved it. Everywhere you look: waterfalls cascading down the mountains that surround the town. We did an easy walk to the closest waterfall, then strolled through town.

I don’t understand why we stopped.

We booked a local fishing boat and were able to fish a lot(!) of cod. We got the cod fillets and had them prepared in a local restaurant. Best meal!
