Was there in August 2023 and there were icebergs as we approached the anchoring area but none really in the bay. We encountered more at Nanortolik. The excursions go right up to the icebergs that you can touch them.

Yes, we saw them both when we were approaching and leaving the ports. We also saw them when walking around town. With that said the proximity with which the boats could get can’t be beat.

I posted 2 photos, the huge one is from an excursion, the one with land for perspective is from the shore (walking around town)

We cruised to Greenland at the end of May. Unfortunately, due to thick fog we were not able to tender ashore at either stop. The captain did sail us unto a fjord so we could at least see some of Greenland. Beautiful scenery and many icebergs in the fjord. Our 14 day cruise ended up only having two stops because we cook not tender in Corner Brook either. Ten days at sea before a stop!
