When we got off the ship, the NCL shore excursion person on the pier was worthless... had NO CLUE where we were to meet our tour transportation. The Valley of the Waterfalls tour was provided by local residents and was very interesting, but expensive.

Nature walk was nice in the morning but again seems timing for wildlife was too late to see any.

A beautiful town and great meal here, but nothing to see or do.

Bus trip to glacier, its far and no other nature stops but a bird preserve that didn't have birds this time of year. Would love to have stopped along the fjords.

Long walk to their famous granite eggs lining the harbor.

Tiny town but lovely walk on the Black Beaches excursion.

We boarded 'super' jeeps for an excursion inland to the Valley of Waterfalls. Although we only stopped at three, small cascades can be spotted elsewhere as you drive through the area. Roads are rocky and bumpy, not paved, but hard packed dirt and rock. We had sunny skies so photo shots were stunning!
