Excellent because we were able to visit Bandung on our own, by using Whoosh, the high-speed rail, from Jakarta, a half-hour ride each way, and saw the beautiful country-side along the way, as well as my birthplace. Jakarta itself was very congested with traffic, but has a lot of history from Dutch Colonial times. The Wayang Puppet Museum was interesting to see as well as the performance, but a bit rushed(no chance to buy some puppet mementos).
