Did one with Mad Max. Booked months before. Booked Jet Ski. When got there woman running it didn’t have a booking for us. Not sure if MM fault or she preferred bigger booking. Went to Blue lagoon; great. Duty free in port was very cheap.

Lots of local tour operators. Efate island is very beautiful. Love blue lagoon. Nice barbeque lunch at naiwe beach and a great place to get close to turtles. Rarru falls is very picturesque and love the water taxi ride on port vila harbour back to the ship.

We have been to Vila several times, including when we stayed there for a week. The main shopping area has plenty of shops but the footpaths are quite narrow and elevated. There are many beautiful areas that can be visited locally. These include cascade falls which has some of the most beautiful waterfalls and rockpools. Also great was hideaway island where you can snorkel and which has a real post office box you can send mail from. The only complaint i had was the scuba diving excursion. The training for inexperienced divers is VERY rushed and if they aren't satisfied they will not let you dive. I snorkelled instead but saw nothing which was a total rip off for the $150 price.

Not the best port. Very dirty around the ship. Pushy taxi drivers and private bus drivers. Away from the ship/port the views are magnificent and the super are super friendly and welcoming. Did a tour that took us to a home/art gallery/museum right on the water's edge. The view was incredible and the art works and artifacts were great. Also went to the National Museum. Another great stop on the tour. Didn't go, but heard the duty free shopping was incredible.

I love Vila! The markets are great to stroll round. Lots to do here, hideaway island with the underwater mailbox is lovely, lots of different waterfalls to do, duty free shopping is cheap!! The buggy riding tour was lots of fun, especially after it rained!

I went on the Tranquility Island (turtle sanctuary) day trip to Moso Island in Havannah Harbour. I have visited Port Vila multiple times previously (not on cruise) and this is one of my favourite areas. Beautiful clear water and good deeper water snorkelling. (On my previous visit to the area, but not this one, I saw a dugong whilst in the water). The excursion was well organised, appropriately paced and provided a nice lunch and snacks on the boat. Other activities that I have previously done in Port Vila and would recommend include: Zipline, Hide Away Island (snorkelling) and abseiling down Cascade Falls. Au Peche Mignon, across from fruit/flower market, is a great place to visit for lunch or morning/afternoon tea.

Great places to visit like Fountains, Blue Lagoon and Green Turtles. Our guide Alfred from Atmosphere was simply amazing. Must see.
