Noumea, New Caledonia Port Q&A

Official currency is Pacific Franc (Comptair Francais du Pacifique Franc = CFP). In Lifou we had no problems with AUD. I’m sure in Noumea credit cards are welcome. But outside the cities make sure to have some cash with you. I noticed some people having problems to pay with US$ at a souvenir shop in Lifou. But AUD were accepted.
