Now here is a place I would return to in a blink of an eye. It is a tender port but it’s only about a five minute trip to the floating walkway to get to the beach. This place is pristine and I cannot say how clean it is. They rake the beaches and all the walkways and frankly it is just stunning. It is well set up with a small place to buy food, another place to buy drinks, a small place for souvenirs, there are toilets and a medical stall set up in case it was required on the day. The water was turquoise and clear. I would advise bringing Reef shoes but you could get away without them. You could clearly see tropical fish swimming around where you’re swimming. And there was shade there unlike other places in Papua New Guinea.

This was the shining Jewel in an otherwise very ordinary cruise. This place was picture perfect. The sand and water were so clean and it was great snorkelling. It is a shame it cannot be kept this pristine but once more cruise ships visit ,it will end up like all the others

5 stars says it all, simply the loveliest islands o earth! We have visited the many islands in the South Pacific, many sadly spoiled and degraded by over-tourism, and the Conflicts are the last remaining group to retain their pristine nature. Visit them just once in your life and experience the real Gauguin South Pacific before its too late!

Beautiful clear water. Quite expensive the goods for sale and hopefully won’t become too commercialised. The turtles were amazing and saw 1 hour old turtles. Nice to have chairs to sit on around the island.
