Spending time at one of the motus, it was the most wonderful treat. This island is so beautiful and weather can be unpredictable during November.

Nice little village. Nice area to explore the port. Many shops.

Accessible and quite colonial. Some good opportunities to take pictures.

One of the nicer ports we visited - less commercialized and a local tour operator was available. The pearl farm and vanilla farm were interesting to visit. A bonus was a surprise sighting of several whales breeching along the coast as we were travelling back to the ship! The tour guide stopped the bus for us to watch the impromptu show.

Went to the pearl farm and took a sunset cruise; both wonderful.

Booked an excursion with Blue Lagoon Raiatea on an outrigger canoe. It was The. Best. Day. https://raiateabluelagoon.com/en/contact/#formulaire We spent allll day out on the water. Jimmy was ace, giving so much information. We always felt so safe and we visited so many different spots for snorkeling, information history.
