Industrial port. This was one of the better tours we experienced. It was another bus tour of the area but this guide was excellent. He pointed things of interest out in a manner that made it easy to follow and he gave us plenty of time at the various stops.

Lyttleton, is hilly, quaint and romantic! With wonderful views of the port and mountains. Christchurch was a bucket list item for me! Although there was some rain and a bit chilly, we braved it and spent more than 4 hours just walking around! The botanical Gardens, the Cathedral, even though under renovation due to the 2010 and 2011 earthquake, was still beautiful! A clean beautiful City, Victoria Park provided calm and and places to rest our feet awhile! We enjoyed the walk along the river back to the main bus station! Lovely city.

Love this cute little town. It’s tiny but love the shops and cafes and view

We didn't see Christchurch, did the high country explorer tour which took all day. The 4X4 part of it was not that great, the jet boat was fabulous. They should offer a half day and just do the boat part so you could have half a day to see the town.

I loved Christchurch it was very pretty. We went to the castle which was lovely. We caught a water taxi there and then I to Christchurch itself it was a lot of fun and you got to see beautiful areas

Took the excursion to the "High country" and jet boat experience. The bus driver was knowledgeable and interesting. The High country was not at all thrilling. The jet boat did take you into a gorge that was beautiful.

Christchurch is still recovering from a devastating earthquake. The botanical gardens is well worth the visit.
