The Amador Causeway is really developing nicely. Although the cruise ship terminal is not ready, they used buses to transport across the construction to the nearby island, which worked out well. Lots of nice restaurants and a very vibrant atmosphere.

We took a taxi to the old city. Not much to see there. I would not go there again.

You have to take the bus (complementary) to the city. Was told only 30 minutes. But it was 1.5 to 2 hours each way.

not there long enough to do or see anything

Took a city tour, and visited the canal museum. Amazing city of people, culture, and variety of things to see and do. Enjoyed the small coffee shops in side streets.

We did the boat tour of the original locks. It was great! But get your souvenirs elsewhere. Few available.

My husband was stationed here and was amazed at how run down former military facilities are now.

Our tour took us to the old city and the new city. The old city is great to visit.

Not a great city to visit, as far as I was concerned.
