A MUST see!!! Very cool.

nothing much about this port itself but the lack of information about disembarkation excursion was very much needed in advance to properly plan the air travel rather than 3 days into the cruise

The Panama Canal Experience offered a different experience than crossing on a large ship.

We had a very nice time in Panama City on the Hop On-Hop Off bus tour we booked through a third party. The stop at the Canal Locks was the highlight of the tour. Back at Isla Perico we had a wonderful meal at El Tablazo.

Panama City was fun. We ended up at the new terminal which is still in the construction phase outside. The taxi union was preventing Uber drivers from entering the port. We had to force the port security to let the Ubers in. One the terminal has more ships docking and they finish the lots and sidewalks I’m sure things will run smoother.

We did the panama canal tour...little did we know that we would be repeating our transit of the canal from the day before again....in the heat...with less shade...and food not as good. It was neat to go through the smaller locks, but I would have done something different if I had known it would be exact same info. Panama is pretty run down, even a long the canal zone.

Highlights of Panama. Colonial and modern Panama. Good guide. Museum very worthwhile as were the many ruins.
