No excursions. Locals were protesting Canadian mining activities in their Country. The ship didn’t stop after the Canal transit. We only made a partial transit, so after going through the locks the first time, we anchored in Gutain Lake for over 4 hours.

Must go out to watch how the locks work. Breath taking and amazing

Very interesting and learned about the history and operation of a remarkable and successful undertaking by the United States to help international trade. We went on the Best of Panama excursion and would highly recommend it.

Bucket list - this was so much fun to see in person. We did the tour and saw the old and new locks, they have a 3D movie telling you how it was built. Very interesting.

The Panama Canal experience was unforgettable.

We took the all day bus/ boat to the pacific side. It was very hot & humid, once in a lifetime is enough. I’m glad to have had the experience.
