We've been through it both East and Westbound (entire transit) and once just passing though the Aqua Clara locks on the Atlantic Side - this cruise. Interesting history and a engineering marvel.

Crossing the new locks in the Panama Canal was fun and something that I am glad I was able to experience. We did not take any tours and the comments after the folks returned were very negative. We had 2-3 medical emergencies on the tours.

A must do. We did the Two Oceans by Railway. The train ride was uneventful. Most of your time is spent on a bus hearing about the canal and the US Military. Not worth $239pp.

Yes it was only a partial transit but well worth it. My wife did a zip line adventure and she loved it. I did the ferry canal excursion and it was very good and informative. The was another tender port. Beautiful area
