We did a trip to neighboring Sark and while the island was interesting, we would have rather spent our time on Guernsey instead.

Interesting port.

Lovely port, the tender ride over was a bit uneasy that morning

Guernsey was charming. Once you get ashore (have to tender in) you can easily explore the town by yourself. We took the little train which does give you some history facts but the ride was rather short. We saw Castle Cornet from.the outside and enjoyed the scenic views. As other spots, there are many shops and restaurants too.

We didn’t get off the ship as it had been a really foggy/misty night (100 metre visibility!), some people did go but we didn’t want to risk it. We heard lovely things about it though, and the view of Guernsey from the ship was great.

We booked a Land Rover tour and we were taken around Guernsey and shown the most interesting parts which we found very informative and interesting.
