Shocking place we did the tuk tuk the tour is bad and not a nice place to see it looks like a tsunami has hit it. I wish they took us to a better tour.

Used the shuttle to go into town. Incredibly poor but mostly dirty. Couldn’t wait to get back on the ship. Next day we took a little excursion which was interesting and informative. Temple rather different from the ones we saw in Bangkok and I mean that in a positive way. Only things that were well kept were the temples and the enormous number of casinos where the locals were not allowed to go. Could have done with just one day in the place.

Small area still developing. No tours per se, but negotiate a tuk tuk to drive you around for a couple of hours

Had a good time ashore as we went on an organised tour There was s fair amount to see Really like the visit to the school and make a donation of materials to the children The market place was manic but good

Very much a 3rd world port. Was not worth the visa to ride a shuttle bus to and from the market area. Not sure why NCL included this port call. Needs a lot of safety / security improvements for visitors. We are very seasoned 3rd world travelers and were very challenged by the lack of basics.
