Are the excursions you are wanting to take through Princess? If so ,you can call the excursions department at Princess cruises and inquire about them.

Both tours can be done in a shorter time.  Not sure why  listed as 14 1/2 hours.   However, the penguins come in at dusk, and its a 2 1/2 hour trip back from penguin parade to Port.The great Ocean road.  Fantastic scenery/coast line , but  would be a little rushed to appeciate it fully.    Something to weigh up. If this is your first time to Melbourne then  ,city itself is great with its European actitecture buildings well worth seeing
