Cyprus, now we didn’t see much because we chose to make it a beach day. I would recommend probably doing an excursion because Royal charges you $30USD per person to get to the town. And if u try walking you’re gonna spend a good 90 mins per way walking through the sketchy part of town. Now once we got to the town it was a beautiful build up beach and harbour town. The water was super warm and the food from the beach restaurants was fabulous! If you like Greek food this is the spot!!

The ship should provide a shuttle to old town or more information on how the busses arrive at port. Otherwise, you feel that you are stuck with taxis as the only option.

Good port with plenty of shopping

We did the walking tour. There really wasn't much to see. The town seemed run down and neglected although they were preparing for Carnival.

We went to Kolossi Castle, which was beautiful, and to an archeological site, which was cool. The mosaics were beautiful.

We took a very long bus ride past the most trash-strewn streets I've seen so we could stop at a small archaeology dig. Next, Cathedral of St. John where the man guarding the church (mostly yelling at people not to take any pictures) talked right over the top of the guide so we heard almost nothing.
