A city, but unfortunately we arrived on a holiday so most stores were closed. We just walked around a bit, shopped at Jack’s. Returned to the ship. They did provide a free shuttle from ship to town center.

The bus drove us to the other side of the island to get on the ship. We saw a lot of amazing scenery, banana and coconut trees as well as the local flowers that most of the islanders wear on their head.

Rainy season--beach time was a premium. Previous shark attacks closed some beaches. Area around this port was trashy and diry--liter all along the highways. Roads were poor.

Yas, what a treat! Our guide was fabulous, the Kava ceremony super and the orchids beautiful!

I did an impromptu excursion off the boat. Great fun guide. Drove over to Nadi and saw lots of great stuff.
