Soviet Nuclear Weapons Site- EXCELLENT EDUCATION! the site is a museum now, altho not up to our USA standards for a museum, it is still very enlightening. EXCELLENT tour guide and bus ride through he countryside to get to site was awesome. Local lunch at pub was awesome as well!

This port was not covered in my cruise port books. We took a shuttle from the cruise port into town. There we whispered into the bronze mouses’ ear and wandered around town. We found a park and a flea market. There was also a small market square and some vendors. By the shuttle stop there is an amber museum. Its showroom includes some nice nice pieces and only place I found bright cherry red amber.

- Did Russian Missile Silo tour here. It was interesting but not sure we’d do again. Had lunch at a traditional place that was nice. - City center not that impressive or well laid out.

Wander around small town with market stalls in centre. Huge modern shopping mall Akroplis between old town and port. Macdonalds free wifi.

Look for the special sculptures scattered around town. They have maps at the dock.

The Witches Hill excursion was great! Would like to have been able to shop around a little bit instead of the one small "sanctioned" stop.
