Dubai is now a very busy and spread out city. We used the public train system and it works really well. Interesting to observe the separation of male and female carriages. Overall a great place to stop for a couple off days. BTW there is a now a 5% VAT on good and services that now makes shopping here not as attractive as it once was.

Did a Dune drive tour. More desert but got to ride a camel! Saw desert wild life, Ibex and Oryx. Again, will never see them at home!

Amazing architecture! I wish I had a few more days here.loved the frame and our visit to neighboring Emirates.we stayed at the Palms; it was a real treat.
