At lunch, all the silverware slid off our table! Outbound was pretty rough the first day - we were on Level 4 and waves smacked against our window like a car wash. It was very cool.

not a port, but not too bad in terms of rough seas.

We were fortunate to have relatively smooth crossings south and north but the cruise in November 2022 encountered a rogue wave that killed one passenger and wrecked many of the staterooms on the forward port side of deck 2 that are still closed off. The ship’s stabilizers and inherent design work well to minimize roll and pitch in heavy seas. We were in 10m seas at times with only a gentle rocking and rolling with no shuddering or tossing.

Our captain was outstanding- we almost didn't know that we were in a dangerous waterway.
