It was a little town, there was not much to do or see in this port. You can even skip this port.

Had excursion but came back in 45 minute, was not well and only got 50% back from excursion amt, but upsetting since I was there only 45 minutes

We went to Playa Audiencia which was close (20 minute, $10 cab) but very crowded being a national holiday. We should have gone to Playa La Boquita further away per cab driver who came back for us at an agreed time.

Pretty port town. Volcanoes in the distance. Excursion to Colima and Comala. Colorful town square. Museum of minimal interest. On to a Nuatl architectural site 1500 years old.

Nice port with great potential. We walked the shops and through the local community. Friends had done the salt flats/brick excursion and highly recommend it. Our ship neighbors took a taxi ride through the town/resorts/, countryside and said this is by far the cleanest port town in Mexico that they have visited.
